Mesh. Some people love it, some people hate it.
Mesh is a huge trend in SS15, so prepare to bare as the highstreet floods with garments that conceal some dignity, yet still reveals 60%. Are your eyes ready? I don't think i'm prepared just yet..
Even though I say that, it doesn't always have to be such an awful thing, you just have to figure out how to tailor a certain trend to suit you, your style and your lifestyle. You may not want everything on show, and you shouldn't feel bad about that, its just your style.
The same way that if you love the way something looks and you want everything on show, thats your style too, I mean if you've got it flaunt it.
For example, the sweatshirt shown below is using mesh in an incredibly clever way, its simply breaking up the silhouette of a standard black sweatshirt, revealing a little bit more skin than you usually would, however its nothing crazy, its just a fresh take on a standard black sweat.
Like I said previously, its all about tailoring trends to suit your personal style, just because something is the hottest trend doesn't mean you have to wear it head to toe, especially if its just not you, don't feel like you have to sacrifice your confidence just to fit in or follow a certain trend. Take a part of a trend and incorporate it into the wardrobe you already have! Simples.
Here are some of my favourite examples of the trend, used in different ways to suit different people.
Whats your opinion on mesh?
