Pointy Perfection | ZARA

Wednesday, 15 April 2015

Recently I picked up these pointed flat sandals from Zara and I am in love. I think they are so minimal, chic and timeless. Plus because they are authentic leather they are going to wear beautifully over time. They retail for £29.99 which may seem a little bit pricey, however for the quality I think they are so worth it. If you are interested, I will leave a link here.

The Clip In Pony-Tail | Hair Rehab London

Thursday, 9 April 2015

At the beginning of the year I decided to chop off my locks into a long bob or "lob" as some people like to call it. As much as I love it, which really I do, I miss being able to have a high pony tail-which to someone who has long hair is probably the least exciting hairstyle they can think of, however I think a high ponytail can look incredibly chic.

I didn't want to invest in a full set of hair extensions, because at the end of the day I didn't want long hair, I just envied that particular style. I came across "Lauren Popes" range from "Hair Rehab London" there are a variety of different options from extensions to many different hair pieces available. One of these being the "clip in ponytail" so after watching a few YouTube videos I decided to take the plunge, and retailing for £19.99 its not exactly breaking the bank.

So far I am in love with it! I would definitely recommend it to anyone, even if you have long hair and your just after that extra bit of added thickness! If anybody is wondering, I wear the shade "beige."

How To - Be Stylish On A Budget

Tuesday, 7 April 2015

Everybody has their own budget, but that doesn't mean to say that not everyone can have their own style and be fashionable. I once heard a saying "champagne taste on a beer budget" which I don't know about you, but its pretty damn relatable.
Plus lets face it, regardless of how much you earn theres some things that just aren't worth the money, so if you know how to find them, who doesn't love a good deal?!

So here are my top tips on how to find the best deals!

Get Thrifty

Over the past few years I have become a huge fan of thrifting. You can find great vintage pieces, that will eventually go round the circle of fashion and become trendy again, even if they're not currently on trend then you can still play around with them styling them up different ways, building up your personal style. You may also be surprised at how many people discard so many up-to-date amazing quality pieces, even designer.
So get looking around your local charity shops and resale boutiques, you never know what your going
to find!

Get Online

Similar to thrifting, theres many second hand online stores aswel such as Ebay and Depop. Again you'll be surprised at one you will find. Plus online thrifting includes no rummaging and no dust- major bonus!
Aswel as online thrifting, nowadays theres many online stores on the more affordable side such as Missguided, Boohoo, Pretty Little Thing ect. Now I know they may not always be the best quality, but they do always keep up to date on all the latest trends, so if there's one on trend piece your lusting after then you know where to head- plus its likely that the trend won't last that long anyway so why break the bank for the sake of a few weeks?

Keep Track!

This one may sound a little bit odd, but it does make sense.
Every store eventually has a sale, theres constantly new stock coming in, especially big department stores- they're constantly rotating their stock for up coming trends, so think about it, what happens to all the old stock? There is always a clearance somewhere, another top tip to know is that some shops such as Motel Rocks sell their old unwanted stock that never got sold on places like Depop, which I mentioned before, so have a look for different store outlets!
So you just have to keep track of when all the up-coming sales are, if its coming to the end of a season then keep on checking online! I don't know about you but I'll go online and find out theres a sale going on but because I didn't realise till too late i've missed out on all the best bits! So you have to get ahead of the game to get the best bargains!
